Great performance for Alex Marquez who gets second victory in a row after Le Mans’ domination; same story in Italy for Marc VDS rider who is now a serious title contender
Alex Marquez seems to have found the confidence he needed to be again a serious title contender this year and dominates the Italian GP after the domination he had at Le Mans. The Spaniard has been unstoppable after overtaking two Dynavolt rider that came on top after the start. Alex, once he got the lead, increased his leadership lap after lap and won the race alone!
Sky Racing Team rider Luca Marini is back on the podium after a great weekend in which the Italian capitalizes the progress made during Barcellona’s test in which Luca found again a great feeling with his bike. Luca had to face Marcel Schrotter and Tom Luthi for the podium and managed to overtook them to get a final 2nd position.
Battle for 3rd saw Tom Luthi and an incredible Lorenzo Baldassarri involved, with the Italian who did a great comeback from 15th position on the grid. Championship leader tried everything he could to at least make an attack on the Swiss but he could not because Luthi got the gap he needed to get a secure podium.

Still a good result for Pons’ rider, who he is still leading the standings after a tough weekend, while his teammate ends in 5th after a great battle with Enea Bastianini. Fabio Di Giannantonio was unlucky at the start and had a contact with some riders, but after that he managed to make a great comeback from last to 10th having the same pace as the race winner.
