Miguel Oliveira who just had new chassis to his RC16 went P4 overall with the time of 1:46.331 early on.

Pramac Ducati’s Johan Zarco was the first one to rattle the combined time sheet and set the second overall fastest time with his 1:46.201

As Johann Zarco was six tenths faster on his Friday time it was until the last 15 minutes of the session when Fabio Quartararo started to shake the time sheets with his Yamaha M1 going fastest with the time of 1:45.807

 Subsequently he improved his time by one tenth in his second run.

A Bagnaia was on the verge of dropping out of Q2 and making himself into Q1 he tightens his reigns to set the record-breaking lap and top the combined time sheets with 1:45.456 with just two minutes remaining in the session.

In the closing stages of the session instead of improving Yamaha’s Maverick Vinales dropped his bike at turn 12 ending his session and also his chances of making into Q2.

Till the chequered flag fell Bagnaia time went unbeaten even though Quartararo led the charge but only succeeded for P2 and with top speed record equaling 362.4km/h KTM’s Brad Binder could only go P3.

Behind the top trio was Jack Miller and two and a half tenths behind him was Frenchman Johann Zarco closing the top five spots.

Alex Rins who was on the cusps of dropping out of Q2 went sixth fastest in the last minutes ahead of Miguel Oleveira and Joan Mir.

Pol Espargaro and Franco Morbidelli completed the top ten, as struggling Marc Marquez only managed P12 behind Yamaha’s Maverick Vinales.
