Andrea Locatelli’s weekend started really well in France; the Italian rider from Italtrans has been the only rider on track able to ride a lap under the 1.37 being the fastest guy in 1.36.894. Andrea seems to be really confident in this track and is suiting really well with his bike, he surely could be the outsider for this weekend.

Marcel Schrotter and Brad Binder follow him with just two tenths of a second of gap; the two riders are separated by just 0.081s and want to get a good result in France, especially KTM one who did not have a great start of the season in which struggled a lot.

Sam Lowes and Remy Gardner are really close to each other and just two tenths of a second far from the top; good session from the Australian considering he is coming from the big Jerez’s crash. Remy seems to be in a good shape and has been really fast during this morning.

Behind them we have two Italians, with Nicolò Bulega ahead of Mattia Pasini; Sky VR46 guy was able to do a good lap in his last chance, while Khairul Idham Pawi replacement for team Petronas seems to suit well with his new bike. Mattia has changed three bikes and teams during the last 3 races and he is not easy for him to adapt hisself to them.

Top 10 is closed by Tom Luthi, championship leader and last GP winner Lorenzo Baldassarri and Alex Marquez; the three are in just 0.019s, while last 4 places for Q2 are actually taken by Bo Bendsneyder, Jorge Martin, Iker Lecuona and Jorge Navarro.
