MotoGP | Marc Marquez tops the warm-up session of Argentina GP
Pole sitter Marc Marquez maintains the pace in warm-up session, a tenth of a second ahead of Yamaha's Maverick Vianles
Vinales who is going to start the race from second spot on the grid set the early benchmark of the session and was the first rider to dip into 1:39s.
His lead was shortly taken by the pole sitter Marc Marquez, who managed to do a lap of 1m39.334 and further improved it by two tenths of second to 1m39.096s, which remained on top till the end of the session.
Vinales also did some attempts to overcome the time set by rival Honda rider but his attempts were only good enough to bring him within, one tenth of a second of pole sitter.
Dovizioso also eyed for the top three slots but ended the session a at P3, a 0.242s behind the leader.
Alex Rins who had a terrible Sunday ended at forth spot making four different teams at top four of the timesheets.
Behind the Suzuki rider was second Ducati of Danilo Petrucci who completed the top five.
In second Yamaha Rossi ended the session at sixth spot ahead of Jack Miller and impressive KTM rider Miguel Oliveira.
Takaaki Nakagami with a laptime of 1m39.85s completed the top ten, ahead of second Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo and Fabio Quartararo
