Marc Marquez continues his Argentina Grand Prix weekend dominance so far by taking pole position for the race on Sunday.

In Q1, Takaaki Nakagami showed the strength of the Honda around the circuit and took the first spot to progress into Q2 alongside Pol Espargaro on his KTM.

In Q2, Marquez put in a 1.38.304 to put his Repsol Honda on top spot.

Maverick Vinales starts in the middle of the first row on his Yamaha and Andrea Dovizioso completes the first row in third place.

Valentino Rossi starts fourth, with Jack Miller and Franco Morbidelli starting alongside the Doctor on the second row.

Fabio Quartararo heads the third row in seventh place alongside LCR Honda teammates Cal Crutchlow and Takaaki Nakagami.

Danilo Petrucci starts 10^th, Jorge Lorenzo 11^th and Pol Espargaro in 12^th.

Aleix Espargaro will start 13^th on the Aprilia alongside Miguel Oliveira in 14^th who had a great qualifying session for the Tech 3 KTM team. Karel Abraham completes the fifth row of the grid.

Alex Rins is the highest placed Suzuki and will start tomorrow’s race in 16^th place, Pecco Bagnaia in 17^th and Johann Zarco in 18^th place.

Joan Mir starts on the seventh row in 19^th, Tito Rabat starts in 20^th and Hafizh Syahrin in 21^st.

Andrea Iannone rounds out the grid in 22^nd place.
