#GermanGP | Sasaki ahead of everyone in Moto3’s FP2
The Japanese got the best time in the second session of free practice ahead of Jakub Kornfeil and Kaito Toba
Not too many riders improved their lap times from the morning but Ayumu Sasaki was able to do it signing first position thanks to his 1.26.526; the Japanese has been the fastest guy overall and especially in FP2 where Jakub Kornfeil is just behind with the Czech being slower than two tenths of a second.
Just 2 thousandths of a second separate Kornfeil and Kaito Toba, with Honda Team Asia followed by Aron Canet and Alonso Lopez, last rider under the 1.27. First rider over that threshold is Romano Fenati, consistent and fast also on a single lap, 6th at the end ahead of compatriot Dennis Foggia.
Masaki is 8th with FP1 leader Raul Fernandez just behind, while Salac keeps the pace showed in the morning and closed top 10. Tatsuki Suzuki is 11th, while actually last spots for Q2 are taken by John McPhee, Marcos Ramirez and Tony Arbolino despite this three are out of top 14 in FP2. Lorenzo Dalla Porta is out for the moment of Q2 as well as Gabriel Rodrigo. Surely this two need a good lap time on Saturday for the direct access to the last session of qualifying.
