#GermanGP | Fernandez the fastest in morning’s Moto3!
Stunning lap for the Spaniard in the first session of free practice ahead of Marcos Ramirez and Jakub Kornfeil
Raul Fernandez has been impressively fast in the first session of free practice in Moto3 being able to ride in 1.26.591 at the end, going already under the record lap of Sachsenring circuit. The Spaniard ended ahead of Marcos Ramirez, behind for just two tenths of a second, while Jakub Kornfeil was third with three tenths of a second of gap.
John McPhee led the session for a while but finished 4th after the chequered flag and he is the first rider over the 1.27, followed by Tony Arbolino with Salac 7th who is stepping up a lot in the last races. Good session also for Romano Fenati who keeps the pace showed in Assen and ended 6th in the morning.
Good morning also for Can Oncu, with Turkish rider starting to be fast and ending 8th ahead of Ayumu Sasaki and championship leader Aron Canet. Sergio Garcia is 11th and over one second slower than Fernandez, followed by Jaume Masia, Albert Arenas and Kaito Toba, who is actually taking last spot for the direct access to Q2, with many top riders out for the moment.
