#GBRWorldSBK | Sykes leads also second session of free practice!
The Briton from BMW is in a really good shape at Donington Park and dominates second session of free practice as weel ahead of Alex Lowes and Toprak Razgatlioglu
Donington Park seems to be a really good track for Tom Sykes also this year as long as BMW rider makes the difference on the others in the second session of free practice as well. The Briton has been able to ride under the 1.28 being the fastest guy overall ahead of Alex Lowes.
A good afternoon also for Kawasaki rider, with Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam in the top positions and fast in afternoon’s session; reigning World Champion ended the day in 4th just ahead of his teammate who was not too far from him. Things went even better for Toprak Razgatlioglu, who ended Friday’s session in third position. Also Jordi Torres showed good pace during FP2 signing 10th time.
Positive day for Yamaha, with Alex Lowes again in top 3 just behind Turkish rider, while Loris Baz is 8th after being 4th in the morning; the Briton seems to be fast but we must see if he has enough consistency also for the whole race. Even Michael Van Der Mark was not too slow considering his physical conditions and ended the day just outside top 10.
Ducatis improved from FP1 session but for the moment they do not look too good for superpole and races; Alvaro Bautista finished in 6th with two tenths of a second of gap from Sykes and Chaz Davies ended in 9th.
