#GBRWorldSBK | Tom Sykes is on fire in home soil!
Sykes seems to be really in charge in home soil and wants a great result at Donington Park leading the way in first session of free practice ahead of Razgatlioglu and Alex Lowes
Tom Sykes is in charge in home soil and leads the way in the first session of free practice being the only rider able to ride under the 1.28. BMW rider has a good relationship with Donington Park and surely is aiming for a big result. The Briton has been really consistent during the session, not only on a single lap and is ahead of Toprak Razgatlioglu who has three tenths of second of gap from FP1 leader.
Third time for Alex Lowes who crashed out at turn 4 in the final minutes of the session and he is the first Yamaha ahead of Loris Baz and Michael Van Der Mark, who seems to be fine to ride after being declared fit to race and he is just seven tenths of a second slower than Sykes.

Great session for Jordi Torres, 6th and followed by Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea, while an impressive Peter Hickman, who is replacing Marcus Reiterberger, is 9th ahead of Marco Melandri, first rider over the 1.28 with the Italian closing the top 10.Not the best session for the Ducatis, with Alvaro Bautista 11th and over one second slower than the best performance, while his teammate Chaz Davies is behind the Spaniard in 12th position.
