John McPhee leads the way during the first session of free practice in Moto3!

Moto3's FP1 has been a really close session in which John McPhee has been the fastest rider so far with a lap of 1.47.052. The Briton is ahead of Americas GP winner Aron Canet for just one tenth of a second, with an impressive Riccardo Rossi in third.

The rookie from Gresini struggled a lot during the first races of the season and it seems that the return in Europe could be a good thing for him, despite a crash just after his best lap.
