MotoGP circus arrived in Americas with the riders ready to ride in the Circuit of the Americas and Moto3 bikes were the first one on track as usual.

Romano Fenati opened the day with a great 2.18.538, being just 0.089s faster than Dennis Foggia.

Both Italians were impressively fast, considering that Niccolò Antonelli, who ended in 3rd, was seven tenths of a second slower than Fenati; behind him we have Gabriel Rodrigo, really close to the Italian from SIC58 Squadre Corse.

Fifth place for Jakub Kornfeil, with the Czech rider being almost one second far from the best performance, ahead of Marcos Ramirez, who is the first rider with a gap of over a second.

Argentina GP winner Jaume Masia ended in 8th, followed by John McPhee and Tony Arbolino, who close top 10; last spots for the direct access to Q2 are taken by Makar Yurchenko, Tatsuki Suzuki, Darryn Binder and Lorenzo Dalla Porta.
