It was not that hard to predict that Marc Marquez would have been the combined leader of the second session of free practice as well after a total domination in the morning where reigning World Champion had an advantage of over a second on everyone else. The Spaniard from Honda HRC kept his pace and for the moment is the main candidate for the victory on Sunday, it seems that no one is able to stop him now. Marquez has a consistent race pace over than being fast on a single lap, despite a small crash during the session. Anyway, that did not affect too much Marc that made his rhythm without trying a fast lap with fresh tyres finishing in 4th.

This does not mean that the other riders will not try to fight for the big prize, first of all Maverick VInales, who made a good session overall after a positive morning and ended on top counting only second session of free practice; the Spaniard has been the fastest guy in the afternoon ahead of his teammate Valentino Rossi. The Italian made a good last run with fresh tyres to put himself into top 10 finishing even really close to the top, while Fabio Quartararo finished 3rd with just one tenth of gap to bring a third Yamaha on top 3.

Pol Espargaro keeps shining with is KTM in 5th followed by Jack Miller, first Ducati on time sheet, ahead of Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso, with the three who are separated by just one tenth of a second. Joan Mir and Aleix Espargaro got for the moment the access to Q2, with Aprilia rider who made a really good lap in Maruqez’s slipstream taking Alex Rins off. Not the best session for Danilo Petrucci, 12th, Takaaki Nakagami and Franco Morbidelli, who are just behind.
