#GermanGP | Marquez Smashes Lap Record to Top FP3 Session.
Marquez topped the FP3 session of the #DutchGP, which means he’s heads straight through to Q2 as the fastest man. In 2nd position, Quartararo carried his momentum from yesterday forward. Viñales completed the top 3.
Repsol Honda rider Marquez topped the FP3 session of the Dutch GP weekend, with a time of 1:20:347. Following closely in second was Petronas SRT Yamaha rider Quartararo, who set a time of 1:20:515. In 3rd position was Monster Energy Yamaha’s Viñales who set a time of 1:20:634.
The fastest Honda for the FP3 session of the current championship contender, Marquez topped the timesheets. Britain’s Crutchlow placed 4th, with a time of 1:20:653. Nakagami placed 13th, after setting a time of 1:21:125. Honda test rider and wildcard, Bradl placed 18th, with a time of1:21:443.
This morning’s FP3 session left Petronas SRT Yamaha rider and contender for Rookie of the Year, Quartararo 2nd ahead of qualifying. Viñales finished the session in 3rd, a solid base to work from for qualifying. Morbidelli set a time of 1:20:833, placing him 6th. Rossi set a time of 1:21:026, placing him 11th, narrowly missing out on a direct Q2 spot, however he has a strong base to work from through Q1.
Suzuki’s Rins placed 5th, with a time of 1:20:679. Rookie of the Year contender, Mir placed 9th, with a time of 1:20:986.
Missow Winnow Ducati rider Petrucci placed 7th, setting a time of 1:20:867, leaving him the fastest Ducati ahead of qualifying. Pramac Racing’s Miller placed 8th, setting a time of 1:20:891. Mission Winnow Ducati rider, Dovizioso found himself down in 14th, setting a time of 1:21:184. Reale Avintia’s Rabat placed 19th, with a time of 1:21:611. Abraham found himself in 20th, having set a time of 1:21:832. Ducati’s contender for Rookie of the Year, Bagnaia missed yesterday’s FP2 session due to a crash during the FP1 session, he set a time of 1:22:150, leaving him 22nd, ahead of qualifying.
Top KTM this session was P. Espargaro with a time of 1:21:019, placing him 10th. Oliveria placed 15th, with a time of 1:21:375. Zarco found himself in 17th position, having set a time of 1:21:435. Syahrin placed 21st, with a time of 1:21:972.
The fastest Aprilia was A. Espargaro with a time of 1:21:086 in 12th. Iannone placed 16th, with a time of 1:21:381. Another impressive session for the Aprilia duo, as they head into qualifying.
Top Rookie this session was Quartararo in 2nd position, after a small near-crash at the end of the FP3 session, he appeared to be in some pain. He will look to improve his times over the FP4 session and into qualifying to continue his impressive streak.
