#GBRWorldSBK | Hattrick for Jonathan Rea with Razgatlioglu and Bautista behind!
It is a perfect weekend for reigning World Champion who wins for the 4th time in a row considering also Misano Race 2; the Briton won the fight against Razgatlioglu who finishes ahead of Alvaro Bautista
Jonathan Rea wins again and conquers Race 2 at Donington Park holding off Toprak Razgatlioglu who tried everything he could to claim his maiden career victory! Turkish rider led the race for a while just as happened two weeks in Misano but in the middle of the race Rea overtook him not giving any chance to Puccetti rider.
Jonathan increases so his championship lead as long as Alvaro Bautista finished 3rd; the Spaniard could not be too disappointed with this result in a really difficult weekend in which he was never comfortable and lost even his leadership. Alvaro had to face Leon Haslam in early stages of the race in which he was even close to Rea and Razgatlioglu but had to give up to them at a certain point.
Alex Lowes was really close to fight for last podium position but ended in 4th after a good comeback overtaking Leon Haslam in the final part of the race, with Rea’s teammate crossing the line in 5h ahead of Loris Baz. Tom Sykes finished in 7th ruining his chance to fight for top 5 and maybe podium position due to a mistake with a couple laps to go.
Stunning race for Michael Van Der Mark, 8th despite his injury followed by Chaz Davies, who had a good start but then started to lose position after position. The Briton from Ducati is still struggling a lot with his Panigale and seems to do not find any good solution to his problems.
