Jonathan Rea seemed to be really competitive on dry conditions and he confirmed that idea on Saturday superpole. World SBK riders faced a dry asphalt after a wet FP3 this morning, but then the sun came up and everyone could go on track with slick tyres. Kawasaki rider has been the fastest one being able to ride in 1.34.596 on a super fast last lap in which he had his teammate Leon Haslam behind him, but the number 91 was not able to perform better than 6th position, having six tenths of a second of gap from the poleman.

A superb Sandro Cortese will start just behind reigning World Champion as long as the German has been able to put his Yamaha in 2nd position and be on provisional pole for a few seconds before Jonathan destroyed his lap time. Sandro is also first Yamaha on the grid, while his teammate Marco Melandri is only 13th with over one second of gap. Alongside Cortese we will have Tom Sykes, who did a great superpole too finishing in 3rd and just 0.025s slower than the German from Yamaha.

First rider over the 1.34 is Alex Lowes, who opens second row in 4th position and seemed to have the potential to get a first row, but he could not catch it for just 0.050s. The Briton did a really good and ended ahead of Alvaro Bautista, who brings his Panigale to 5th position having half of a second of gap from Jonathan Rea.

His teammate Chaz Davies will start even behind the two Ducatis from Barni Racing Team, with Michael Ruben Rinaldi starting from 7th position and wild card Michele Pirro 8th, with Ducati test rider who seemed to have found more confidence than yesterday after a really tough Friday in which he crashed two times. Top 10 in closed by Toprak Razgatlioglu, with the Turkish who looked really good in the first part of superpole but could not manage to end over 10th position.
