These days are really important for Moto3 and Moto2 team, as long as they are involved in three days of official testing at Jerez.
In the first one, Tony Arbolino and Luca Marini were on top, being faster than all the other riders in combined times. In Moto3, Sergio Garcia surprised everyone with a 2nd time, just 0.045 slower than the Italian. The rookie of Marc VDS knows well the track, but his crono was still impressive.
Behind Sergio, we had Gabriel Rodrigo and Lorenzo Dalla Porta, two title contenders for 2019, who were fast in Day 1. Jaume Masia was 5th and the first KTM bike in top 5.
In Moto2, only Iker Lecuona was slower than Luca Marini, being followed by Sam Lowes and Brad Binder, with Alex Marquez closing the top 5.
In the second day of testing, Aron Canet led the top of the table, with 1.46.455, while Jaume Masia was just behind for 0.034. That means we had two KTM on top, with Tony Arbolino being the first Honda in the time sheet. Again in 4th place we have Lorenzo Dalla Porta, who confirmed his pace and competitiveness. The Leopard rider is followed by his teammate, Marcos Ramirez, who was faster than Estrella Galicia's duo, with Alonso Lopez in 6th and Sergio Garcia in 7th, being just three tenths of a second slower than the best performance.
Ayumu Sasaki and Dennis Foggia ended in 8th and 9th place, while Ai Ogura, another rookie who was really consistent and fast, closed the top 10.
Alex Marquez was the fastest one for Moto2. The Spaniard ended the day with a 1.41.208 which put him on the top of the table. Only Brad Binder was slower than him with a crono of 1.41.284. In 3rd place we find Jorge Navarro, who was really fast during this days, showing he can be an outsider for this championship.
4th place for Lorenzo Baldassarri, followed by Luca Marini. On rookies side, Enea Bastianini was the fastest one, closing the Day 2 in 10th place, being slower just for 0.443s from Marquez. Good performance also for Nicolò Bulega and Jorge Martin: the two rookies from Sky Racing Team and KTM Red Bull Ajo ended in 12th and 13th, being just six tenths of a second slower than Marquez's time.
