Monster Yamaha turns on #BeastMode to get bet to the success!
The new "Monster Energy Yamaha Team" bikes have been unveiled in Jakarta, after a big wait and high expectations. Big changes on the line, as long as Vinales and Rossi hope to fight for the championship this year.

After the official launch of Suzuki, the new official Yamahas have been launched in Jakarta. There were big expectations about the new bikes of Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales and we were not disappointed by that.
First of all, big news was the change of the main sponsor: Movistar Yamaha Team becomes Monster Energy Yamaha Team for 2019, that means Monster will be the main sponsor of Yamaha and we all expected something new about the livery of the M1.
And so it was: alongside the classic blue of Yamaha there is the classic black of Monster, which created a combination of this two colours, making the bike look more aggressive than the previous years.
For sure that was a big mutation for Yamaha, which expect also to perform a lot better than the last two seasons, full of ups and downs, where his two riders did not get the results they expected, despite podiums and victories.
The priority is to fight for the championship, as team manager Lin Jarvis said, and Rossi and Vinales agree with that point of view and they hope to be able to battle for the high position during this year, but they also know that the level of MotoGP is really high now.
Before unveiling the bikes, Maverick and Valentino have been interviewed about the upcoming season, where both have high expectations.
The spaniard looks really confident and he wants to ride his new bike as soon as possible: "I am feeling good, I am impatient to start and I hope we can do good things in 2019. I am ready to be at the top, I did many changes in my staff, including the entry of Julito (Simon), who will be my coach and mental coach also. The goal is to fight for the victories and the championship, I hope we will be able to do it"
Maverick highilighted how important is the team work too: "Sometimes Valentino is faster, sometimes I am fast, so sharing the data is the key to improve and learn a lot, I try to use every thing I could to get better"
Also Valentino said that teamwork helps him and the squad to get good results: "I think me and Maverick are a great couple, we have respect for each other and we are fast. We always follow what Maverick does, having a fast teammate helps a lot and there is always something to learn. MotoGP is changed a lot during the years, but the atmosphere in the team is still the same and this is great"
The nine time world champions also underlined the role of the tyres: "Saving the tyre is the key to be able to fight for the success, we have to work a lot on this aspect and every detail is crucial"
After that, Rossi told what is his motivation and the reason why he is still competitive despite his age: "The feeling I have when I ride the bike, especially the one when I get a victory, is my engine, my motivation"
