Marc Marquez put in a time of 1.30.088 and starts on pole position for tomorrow’s Thailand Grand Prix ahead of Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso.

Marquez had to go through Q1 due to a crash he had in FP3 that pushed him out of the automatic Q2 spots.

However, it was no problem for Marquez as he put in a 1.30.031 to go straight to Q2 alongside Alex Rins who was +0.890 off Marquez’ time.

In Q2, Marquez’ pole time was a fraction slower than his Q1 time, but it was enough for him to bag pole position, +0.011 ahead of Rossi.

Dovizioso put his Ducati in third place and will start on the front row.

Maverick Vinales will start tomorrow in fourth place and Cal Crutchlow will start alongside him on the second row in fifth place.

Andrea Iannone completes the second row in sixth place.

Dani Pedrosa heads the third row in seventh place alongside Johann Zarco and Danilo Petrucci.

Jack Miller starts 10th, with Q1 qualifier Alex Rins starting 11th and Alvaro Bautista took the last spot in Q2 and will start on the fourth row in 12th place.

Franco Morbidelli starts on the fifth row in 13th place alongside Takaaki Nakagami and Bradley Smith.

Aleix Espargaro will start in P16, Karel Abraham in P17 and Hafizh Syahrin in P18.

Pol Espargaro starts on the seventh row in 19th place, Xavier Simeon in 20th and Tito Rabat’s replacement Jordi Torres starts 21st.

Tom Luthi and Scott Redding start on the back row for tomorrow’s race.
