Jorge Lorenzo grabs pole at the very last second at the Aragon Grand Prix on an action-packed last lap with Andrea Dovizioso +0.014 behind his teammate and Marc Marquez close behind the two Ducati's.

During Q1 both the factory Yamaha’s had to try make it through to the next round, but it wasn’t easy for them as Franco Morbidelli, Johann Zarco and Takaaki Nakagami were putting in good laps to challenge the factory bikes.

But, it was Maverick Vinales who took the first place in Q2 alongside Nakagami who also went through to the next round.

For the duration of Q2 it was Marquez that had the fastest lap for everyone to try and beat.

On the final run everyone posted quick laps, but it was the Ducati again that took top spot and starts on pole for the race tomorrow. Lorenzo put in a 1.46.881 to take pole position from his teammate Dovizioso and Marquez.

Dovizioso qualified close behind his teammate with only +0.014 splitting the two. Marquez qualified third for tomorrow’s race and was also close behind the pole time by +0.079.

Despite crashing on his final flying lap, Cal Crutchlow managed to get his LCR Honda on the second row of the grid for tomorrow as he qualified fourth +0.265 behind the pole time.

Andrea Iannone finished fifth and Dani Pedrosa completes the second row in sixth.

Danilo Petrucci qualified in seventh place ahead of Alvaro Bautista and Alex Rins for the third row.

On the fourth row for tomorrow will be Jack Miller and Q1 qualifiers Vinales and Nakagami.

Morbidelli, Zarco and Aleix Espargaro all qualified on the fifth row in 13^th, 14^th and 15^th.

KTM rider Bradley Smith qualified 16^th ahead of Karel Abraham in 17^th and the other factory Yamaha of Valentino Rossi will start the race down in 18^th place.  

Hafizh Syahrin, Tom Luthi and Scott Redding are all on the seventh row.

Xavier Simeon qualified 22^nd and Tito Rabat’s replacement rider Jordi Torres rounds out the grid in 23^rd place.
