With the warmest of the temperatures for a session over entire weekend. The session started with Rossi kicking in some fast laps. Eventually he ended the session 11^th fastest 0.978 behind the fastest time.

Then the command was taken by the Team Ducati who went fastest with Dovizioso posting a lap of 1:32.564.

Fastest time of the session came from the reigning champion on his 10^th flying lap with only 3 minutes remaining on the clock, he posted a 0.028 faster lap than Dovizioso to go faster overall. Spaniard was on Medium Front and Rear tires.

Pole sitter Jorge Lorenzo who encounter traffic on his last flying lap after going fastest in sector 1 couldn’t improve on his previous run for 3^rd fastest time 0.151 adrift of his teammate and a further 0.262 ahead of Honda of Cal Crutchlow.

Jack Miller after leading the session briefly did a decent lap of 1:33.068, 0032 ahead of Dani Pedrosa.

Maverick Vinales ended the session only seventh fastest his tire choice was soft at front. Vinales did some consistent laps but his pace is not good enough to challenge the frontrunners.

After Warm Up it seems the battle will be between the Marc Marquez and the pair of Team Ducati. Marc Marquez after doing consistent runs on Medium front and rear looks comfortable with his choice of tires. On the other hand Ducati looks more comfortable with Soft front and Rear Medium.
