San Marino GP | Vinales tops FP4 in Misano
Maverick Vinales topped the FP4 session in Misano on his Movistar Yamaha bike ahead of both Ducati's who look strong around the San Marino GP circuit.
Maverick Vinales tops the FP4 session in Misano at the San Marino Grand Prix ahead of the two Ducati’s of Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso with the top 16 covered by one second.
Vinales set the quickest time of the session with a 1.32.633. Lorenzo was just +0.123 behind the factory Yamaha and Dovizioso a further +0.254 behind the quickest time.
Marc Marquez finished the session in P4, +0.276 behind the Yamaha and Vinales’ teammate Valentino Rossi finished P5 only +0.284.
Jack Miller finished P6 with Franco Morbidelli behind him. Ducati test rider Michele Pirro in eighth place for the session.
Johann Zarco who topped FP3 this morning, finished ninth place and Cal Crutchlow rounds out the top 10 after his crash at the end of the FP4 session.
The two Suzuki’s of Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins set the exact same time and both +0.703 behind the top time in 11th and 12th.
Danilo Petrucci finished 13th and behind him was Dani Pedrosa.
Takaaki Nakagami was 15th, Scott Redding 16th and Bradley Smith 17th.
Hafizh Syahrin was 18th, ahead of Aleix Espargaro and Alvaro Bautista.
HRC wildcard Stefan Bradl finished 21st +1.5 seconds behind the fastest time.
