Monster Energy Yamaha’s Viñales led the Yamaha charge ahead of the Petronas Yamaha SRT duo, Morbidelli, who claimed 2^nd throughout the FP3 session  However, championship leader Quartararo suffered a crash during the FP3 session and has been taken to the medical centre for further examination, but remains 3^rd ahead of this afternoon’s qualifying.

LCR Honda CASTROL’s Crutchlow placed 4^th, despite carrying injuries from earlier in the season. P. Espargaro set the 5^th fastest time, ahead of championship contender Mir, who placed 6^th.

Repsol Honda’s Marquez continued his impressive form, placing 7^th overall ahead of qualifying. LCR Honda IDEMITSU’s Nakagami placed 8^th, improving on yesterday’s time. Team SUZUKI ECSTAR’s Rins placed 9^th, ahead of Aprilia’s A. Espargaro, who will look to improve throughout Q2.

One of the most striking things about this weekend’s #AragonGP qualifying will be that all 6 Ducati’s will have to compete through Q1, to earn a spot in Q2, with only 2 spots being available. With riders such as Dovizioso, Petrucci, Miller, Bagnaia, Binder and Oliveira all vying for a spot in Q2, the Q1 session is set to be a thriller… who will come out on top?  Can Ducati overcome their free practice woes, or will KTM rule the roost in Q1?
