Pramac Racing’s Bagnaia topped the timesheets with a new lap record of 1:31.127, ahead of today’s qualifying session. Viñales placed second, despite some struggles during the FP3 session, setting a time of 1:31.185. Championship contender, Quartararo set a time of 1:31.359, to place 3^rd.

Winner of the #SanMarinoGP Morbidelli placed 4^th, despite having a stomach bug. Team SUZUKI ECSTAR’s Mir placed 5^th.  After an incredible race last time out, he will look to secure himself a front row start for tomorrow’s #EmiliaRomagnaGP. KTM’s Binder had good pace throughout the opening sessions, managing to place 6^th, securing himself a spot in this afternoon’s Q2 session.

LCR Honda IDEMITSU’s Nakagami placed 7^th.  As the frontrunner for Honda he will be in the hunt for the front row this afternoon. Rossi, who had an impressive #SanMarinoGP, set a late lap time during the FP3 session, placing 8^th, securing a Q2 place. P. Espargaro played second fiddle to his teammate over the combined times, however being 9^th fastest sets the Spaniard in good stead ahead of qualifying. Ducati Team’s Petrucci took the final direct Q2 spot, placing 10^th.

Notable mentions who will have to battle through Q1 are the championship leader Dovizioso, Oliveira, who suffered two crashes during this morning’s session, Miller and Rins.
