Suzuki’s Mir topped the timesheets ahead of qualifying, with a time of 1:23.456. Championship leader, Quartararo placed 2^nd, after struggling through yesterday’s sessions. LCR Honda IDEMITSU’s Nakagami rounded out the top 3.

Last weekend’s race winner, Dovizioso placed 4^th, ahead of today’s qualifying session. Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Viñales placed 5^th, after a difficult day for the Yamaha camp yesterday. KTM frontrunner P. Espargaro placed 6^th, having led most of the FP3 session. Red Bull KTM Tech 3’s Oliveira placed 7^th ; he will look to secure a strong grid position, in order to challenge for the podium.

Morbidelli managed 8^th ahead of qualifying, as he maintained good pace from yesterday’s sessions. Suzuki’s Rins placed 9^th ; he will be looking for redemption this weekend, after crashing out of the battle for the lead at the #AustrianGP. After a crash in the closing stages of the FP3 session, Miller managed to secure 10^th position and a spot directly through to Q2.

Notable competitors who will miss out on a direct spot to Q2 include Rossi, Binder, Crutchlow and Petrucci.
