#MotoGP: Andrea Dovizioso talks about his incident
After went under surgery to fix broken collarbone following motocross incident, Andrea Dovizioso spoke about what happened and how did he feel when he crashed saying also that we will be fit to race at Jerez for the opening rounds of MotoGP season
Andrea Dovizioso came back talking after motocross accident where he broke his collarbone. The Italian had a big incident during a motocross race and had to went under surgery the following evening to fix as soon as possible the problem. Not an ideal scenario for him and Ducati, as the season is about to start, but Andrea believes to be fit to race at Jerez de la Frontera.
“I lost the rear after a jump, then I made an highside landing on my shoulder. Firstly I thought to have a broken scapula, but after a few seconds I started to have pain to the collarbone. I had blurred view at the beginning”, said Dovizioso, who also admitted he was not pushing too much as he did not have the pace to stay in front
Andrea talked also about operation: “It went well, I would like to thank everyone who made it. I am not feeling too much pain, I am optimistic. I came back home and I will organize my rehabilitation. I am sure that I could be in a perfect shape for the first race of the season at Jerez”
