Aprilia and Espargaro had a lot of work to do during these three days of testing in Misano, claiming fastest lap overall during the last day where KTM was absent
Aprilia and Aleix Espargaro could be satisfied overall with the job done during the three day of private MotoGP testing at Misano. The Spaniard claimed fastest time overall during day 3, jumping ahead of KTM which led day 1 and day 2 with Pol Espargaro and Iker Lecuona.

During the last day, Aleix Espargaro was able to ride under the 1.33 over than making a lot of laps to acquire much more data as possible. Michele Pirro with Ducati finished really close with 1.33.0, considering that the Spaniard made a 1.32.9.
Bradley Smith struggled a bit during the three days as he had to change mentality from tester rider to an official one as he is set to replace Andrea Iannone for the opening rounds at Jerez on 19th and 26th July. The Briton improved his times and ended with 1.33.5 on the final day.
After the steps up showed during official preseason MotoGP test, Aprilia confirmed their improvements and even Aleix Espargaro cannot wait to come back racing: "We know Misano is not our favourite track, but at the end of the three days we achieved a good pace, confirming the positive impression we had in Malaysia and Qatar"
