#MotoGP: Pol Espargaro confirms talks with Honda, but there is also Ducati on the table
Finally Pol Espargaro talked about his situation, speaking about the possibility to join Honda, stay in KTM or also ride a Ducati with Spanish media. The future of the Spaniard is still uncertain, but surely he has a lot of option in his hands
The most discussed MotoGP rider in this moment is surely Pol Espargaro, who seems to be really close to end the deal with Honda HRC to partner Marc Marquez for 2021. The Spaniard has still one more year with KTM and the Austrian manufacturer is not happy with that and at the same time is trying to do everything to keep Pol in their team.
According to what Espargaro said, probably the Spaniard is close to leave: “Who does not want to ride an Honda? It is a dream bike and I could say the same about Ducati. We saw during this year what Marc Marquez was capable of, he is winning with Honda. Honda and Ducati are the best bike on the grid”
Pol confirmed also rumors about negotiations with Honda, but there is also Ducati on the table: “There are two teams on the table; this is an ideal situation for me, I have the chance to hear a lot of proposal, but I do not know what will happen in the future”
Espargaro is taking his time to decide what is best for his career: “I am no more 24 years old, I am 29 right now. I have to decide what is best for me, I want to show my potential. I desire to evaluate KTM project, we grew up a lot in the past seasons, achieving important results”
