It was just about time before the official statement that announces the postponement of German GP planner for 21^st June. 2020 MotoGP season was set to start there after Qatar GP cancellation and Thai, Argentina (Termas), Americas (Austin), Spanish (Jerez), French (Le Mans), Italian (Mugello) and Catalan (Catalunya) GP delay due to ongoing Coronavirus crisis.

Having a Grand Prix for the end of the June seemed a really tough thing but during these days even possible as long as German banned public gatherings until 31^st August. Even considering to have a minimum staff for a MotoGP race, it was expected an amount of 1.000 people on the track to organize the event, forcing another postponement.

An announcement was made responding to German government decision to ban public gatherings: “We are in talks with the MotoGP rights holder Dorna and with the responsible authorities to find a new date for the motorcycle Grand Prix at the Sachsenring”, this is what we found in the statement from event organizer ADAC.

Safety goes first: “The health of fans and everyone involved is always the top priority. The purchased tickets remain valid for the new date. We ask our loyal fans for some patience”.
