Surely this is not the way we wanted to see MotoGP riders back on track, but the ongoing Coronavirus emergency forced everyone to stay at home and so we had the opportunity to watch the #StayAtHomeGP, where 10 MotoGP riders challenged themselves in a virtual race on the official MotoGP videogame.

Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, Alex Rins, Francesco Bagnaia, Iker Lecuona, Fabio Quartararo, Miguel Oliveira, Maverick Vinales and Joan Mir raced at Mugello, with the guys who had to make a short qualifying session of 5 minutes, followed by a 6 laps race where the magic happened.

Vinales had a really quick start and jumped ahead of poleman Fabio Quartararo, but the French missed braking point and crashed involving his future teammate, with both smiling and laughing. Alex Marquez had so the opportunity to win and was able to make a solitary run on Francesco Bagnaia, who pushed as much as he could to catch the Spaniard but crashed being still able to finish in second.

Bad luck for Marc Marquez, who had the chance to end in 3rd but the Spaniard made a mistake finishing on the gravel letting Vinales and Quartararo through, with both guys who made a stunning comeback from behind.

It is pretty much sure that the real winner was how funny the show was, with the riders laughing and smiling to everything and gave us something worth to watch. Everyone wants to see them on the real tracks as soon as possible, but for the moment we have to be satisfied with that and it is not that bad until we will comeback to real racing.
