Yamahas seem to be in a really good shape also in the last day of pre-season MotoGP test in Qatar; Fabio Quartararo topped time sheet in the penultimate day, while Maverick Vinales was able to get the best lap time at the end of the last one. As we said in the previous days, Iwata’s crew did not have any new part to test apart from the ‘holeshot’ device, but everything seems to be fine and the Spaniard is really quick also on the race pace.

Behind him we have Franco Morbidelli, who led the session for a while with an astonishing lap under the 1.54, being the last one able to do it. The Italian made an impressive chrono and he is followed by Alex Rins and teammate Fabio Quartararo; both guys are ready for the start of the Championship and could compete for the victory in the opening round, even if Frenchman suffered a little technical problem who forced him to stop in the middle of the Day 3.

Jack Miller brings his Ducati to 5th place, ahead of Joan Mir, with the two who are only separate by 24 thousandths of a second. World Champion Marc Marquez ended the day in 7th but the most important thing is that he tried the 2019 bike to make a comparison with the actual one: the Spaniard complained about the competitivity of the new one and he is worried about that and he said yesterday he would not be able to compete for top 5 at this stage.

8th place for Takaaki Nakagami who is still suffering a bit considering he recovered from the operation who forced him to miss the last races of 2019, while Brad Binder made an astonishing lap; KTM rookie is 9th fastest overall, followed by Andrea Dovizioso. 11th time for Francesco Bagnaia, while Valentino Rossi ended the day not being too far from the top (just half of a second) but crashed in the midday at turn 2.  9-time World Champion was still able to came back on track to finish the day. Espargaro brothers are just behind in 13th and 14th, with Aleix ahead of his younger brother Pol
