Fabio Quartararo seems to be in a really good shape as long as the French Petronas Yamaha SRT rider has been once again the fastest rider on track after topped the first day of pre-season MotoGP test in Sepang as well. 2019 Rookie of the Year made a lot of laps as well, 72 (only Tito Rabat did more with 77), ending the day with a best of 1.58.572.

Everyone is close on lap time, considering that between first and tenth place there are just five tenths of a second in a really long track, with Valentino Rossi who is the last of this riders in 10^th with 1.59.116. The first guy who follows Quartararo is Jack Miller, who is just 0.069s slower, ahead of an astonishing Daniel Pedrosa; KTM Test Rider’s gap is just of 0.090s.

4^th place for Joan Mir, first Suzuki in the time sheet, while Franco Morbidelli finished the day in 5^th, being just two tenths of a second slower than his teammate. Maverick Vinales brings his Factory Yamaha in 6^th ahead of Alex Rins and Pol Espargaro, who is the last rider going under the 1.59. World Champion Marc Marquez is still suffering with his shoulder and ended the day in 9^th and a little crash during the session without any consequence.

Aleix Espargaro crossed the lien in 11^th, followed by Cal Crutchlow, Danilo Petrucci, Francesco Bagnaia and Andrea Dovizioso, with all this guys who are separated by just one tenth of a second. Rookies Miguel Oliveira, Alex Marquez and Brad Binder are just behind, while Johann Zarco, 19^th, is the last rider being able to ride under the two minutes.
