Provisional 2020 MotoGP Calendar was released in August last year and nothing changed at the end; the races will still be 20 with Finland ready to host MotoGP once again and joins the package on 10-12 July before Summer holidays. One of the biggest change on the calendar is Thailand GP to be just two week after the opening round in Qatar; in the last years Buriram became the first race of the Asiatic Tour in September/October, while this year it is going to have MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 riders on 22th March.

As said before, Qatar will be the opening round once again, while Valencia will end the Championship on 15th November, with Ricardo Tormo Circuit who will also see the end of the second ever MotoE Championship. With 20 races on the line it is interesting to see how many sessions of official tests are planned for the next season; we will have 5 official test, one before the opening race in Qatar, the second one in Jerez after Spanish GP, then Barcelona after race weekend before going to Finland for a tyre test and Misano will be the last one.
