Overall Yamaha could be satisfied with the times they got in the two days of tests in Valencia, where Fabio Quartararo topped day one, while Maverick Vinales was the fastest guy in the second one, being the only rider to ride under the 1.30. The Spaniard was feeling good on the bike, despite having a lot of work to do, but is really impressed by the chassis, even if there are still some areas to develop, with Jerez’s test that will be an important test.

Factory Yamaha rider is followed by Petronas duo, with Fabio Quartararo who finished ahead of his teammate Franco Morbidelli; both were fast again today and considering how quick they were during Spanish GP, we are actually thinking that they will be quick also during Jerez’s tests. Valentino Rossi is a bit more far but surely he did a lot of job trying some new parts, although a technical problem in the middle of the day which forced him to stop for a while.

Cal Crutchlow follows in 4^th despite a crash, with the Briton who is ahead of Joan Mir and Alex Rins. 7^th time for Marc Marquez, who tried a new fairings in a black livery, while his brother Alex Marquez kept working on his feeling on the bike and crossed the line in 20^th.  Pol Espargaro is 8^th with KTM, with Jack Miller who ends top 10 ahead of Andrea Dovizioso. On the other side of the box, Danilo Petrucci was forced to miss Day 2 due to pain on his shoulder.
