#ValenciaGP | Marquez Dominates Warm Up.
The 2019 MotoGP World Champion topped this morning’s timesheets after a small spill at T14. Viñales followed closely in 2nd, after leading much of the session. Petrucci placed 3rd, being the centre of rumours this weekend he will look to leave his stamp on this afternoon’s race.
2019 MotoGP World Champion and Repsol Honda rider, Marquez topped the timesheets for this morning’s Warm Up Practice session, with a time of 1’31:136. Yamaha’s Viñales set a time of 1:31:295, placing him 2nd. Petrucci set a time of 1:31:445, placing him 3rd.
Rookie of the Year, Quartararo followed closely behind his Yamaha colleague, setting a 1:31:531, which placed him 4th in this morning’s standings. Morbidelli set a time of 1’31:584, placing him 5th.
Ducati’s Dovizioso placed 6th, setting a time of 1’31:607. Team Suzuki ECSTAR’s Rins set a time of 1’31:662, placing him 7th. Team Suzuki ECSTAR’s rookie Mir, set a time of 1’31:672 placing him 8th. Pramac Racing’s Miller, who has qualified 3rd for this afternoon’s race, set a time of 1’31:700. P.Espargaro placed 10th, having set a time of 1’31:801
The weather for this afternoon’s #ValenciaGP is forecast to remain dry, with highs of 18ºC.
Will Marquez continue his domination, to end his season on a perfect high? Can Quartararo seal the deal on his elusive maiden win in his Rookie year? Or can Miller raise heart rates and bring the fight to the front runners?
