Nothing too special happened in the last MotoGP Q1 of the season, where Alex Rins, Pol Espargaro and Johann Zarco fought for the two spots that could grant them Q2. The main candidate was the Spaniard rom Suzuki, while the French and KTM rider had to fight for Q1 second place. At the end, Alex Rins made the job as expected riding in 1.30.538, putting himself in the right position for Q2.

Second one was as everyone thought a fight between Pol Espargaro and Johann Zarco, with KTM rider who was the best, finishing 2^nd at just five thousandths of a second from the leader. Zarco could not do anything but tried his best, but had to give up and will start from 13^th position on the grid in the last race of the season where the French has also to find a seat for next year.

Fabio Quartararo then tried again to get another pole position after being the fastest guy in combines free practices times and seemed that he could complete the job by scoring the best lap in the first run ahead of Maverick VInales and Marc Marquez. Anyway, everyone did not want to give up and tried everything they could to steal that first position to Quartararo, with Maverick Vinales and Marc Marquez who pushed over the limits.

Also Jack Miller had a big shot in his hands and took provisional pole in the second run, but Fabio Quartararo was again amazing on doing fast laps and no one could beat him once again. The French was the only guy being able to ride under the 1.30, while Marc Marquez had to give up being just 32 thousandths of a second slower than poleman. Jack Miller at the end finished in 3^rd  ahead of Maverick Vinales and Franco Morbidelli.

Andrea Dovizioso closed second row and he is followed by Joan Mir and Alex Rins, with Cal Crutchlow 9^th. Fourth row is composed by Danilo Petrucci, Pol Espargaro and Valentino Rossi, who struggled a lot during the whole qualifying session.
