Last Q1 of the season saw some big names as Tatsuki Suzuki, Darryn Binder, Celestino Vietti, Albert Arenas and Alonso Lopez playing for a spot into Q2 and that meant first session of qualifying was a really busy one.
In that scenario, Tatsuki Suzuki did not have too many problems on getting the top of the table, while the others tried everything they could, with Carlos Tatay who made a really good job putting himself on second position.

Albert Arenas, despite a lot of good performance in the last races, did not manage to find a spot into last session of qualifying and ended in 6^th, starting so from 20^th on the grid on Sunday, while Alonso Lopez and Darryn Binder made a good job on finding a good lap time to qualify themselves. Jeremy Alcoba was out for just 28 thousandths of a second, with FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Champion who pushed at the maximum but could not jump into Q2. The Spaniard is replacing Gabriel Rodrigo this weekend. Unlucky days also for Celestino Vietti, who suffered a little injury at the shoulder after the three crashes he had during free practices and could not do better than 14^th Q1 time.

In the final qualifying of the season it was then Andrea Migno who made an impressive lap to conquer his maiden Moto3 pole position! The Italian was superb in his last attempt and snatched first time from everyone riding in 1.38.683 putting himself on top of the table; Marcos Ramirez had to give up and he is second with two tenths of a second of gap, while polesitter’s teammate Jaume Masia closes first row.

Aron Canet opens second row, followed by Sergio Garcia and Filip Salac, while World Champion Lorenzo Dalla Porta ended in 7^th. Q1 leader Tatsuki Suzuki ended in 8^th ahead of Darryn Binder, with Romano Fenati ending top 10. Carlos Tatay is 11^th, with Tony Arbolino behind who could not try a second attempt due to a huge crash. Riccardo Rossi did not even the chance to score a lap as long as he crashed before being able to do it.
