Fabio Quartararo kept the pace showed during the morning and he is the fastest rider on track so far also in the afternoon. French rookie made an impressive last run where he tried a single fast lap ending the FP2 in 1.30.735, being faster than everyone else. Petronas rider is followed by Maverick Vinales, who was again really consistent on race pace and finished just one tenth of a second slower than Rookie of the Year.

World Champion Marc Marquez led the session for the major part of the session and did not improve his lap time as usual in the final stages of the practices, but the Spaniard still managed to put himself on 3^rd position and he is the last rider able to ride under the 1.31. Jack Miller follows him while Franco Morbidelli ends top 5.

A good session for Suzuki also, with Alex Rins and Joan Mir who are 6^th and 7^th, separated by just 50 thousandths of a second, while Aleix Espargaro brings Aprilia in top 10 and he is followed by Andrea Dovizioso, who suffered a bit of technical issues during the session. Johann Zarco closes top 10 and he is actually last rider qualified for Q2. Tough session for Valentino Rossi, crashed again, with the Italian who finished 14^th, while Jorge Lorenzo is 16^th.
