Brad Binder had just to convert his pace to keep the Championship alive until Sepang at least and the Sudafrican managed to do it with a perfect race dominated from first to last lap ahead of his teammate Jorge Martin who gest his second podium in a row after the one conquered in Motegi just one week ago. KTM duo took the lead since the start, where we already had a twist, as long as Iker Lecuona missed brake point and took Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi out of the race.

Unfortunately we lost then two candidates for the podium at the first lap, while Tom Luthi and Jorge Navarro started to engage a little battle for 3rd as long as Brad Binder and Jorge Martin seemed to be faster and created a gap. Meanwhile, Championship Leader Alex Marquez struggled a lot on staying with the group fighting for top position and started to lose position lap after lap, finishing on battling for 6th, but at the end ended in 8th position.

That means Championship Battle is still alive, with Brad Binder who is now 33 points far from the top with two race left, with Tom Luthi, 3rd at the end, and Jorge Navarro, 4th, still able to win the Title as well. Top 5 battle saw Lorenzo Baldassarri being victorious with the Italian followed by Remy Gardner, Iker Lecuona, Alex Marquez, Stefano Manzi and Tetsuta Nagashima. Last points position were taken by Marcel Schrotter, Nicolò Bulega, Jesko Raffin, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Bo Bendsneyder. Bad day for another Title Contender, as long as Augusto Fernandez finished 19th scoring no points.
