#JapaneseGP | Petrucci Leads The Way Ahead of Qualifying.
Torrential rain marred this morning’s free practise sessions, however, Petrucci topped the timesheets. 2019 MotoGP World Champion, Marquez placed 2nd, with Morbidelli rounding out the top 3.

However, due to this morning’s session being a washout, none of the MotoGP riders managed to improve on their time from day 1. Therefore, the riders who will be going straight to Q2 will be the fastest 10 over the combined times from FP1, FP2 and FP3. Notable absentees from the direct path to Q2 will be P. Espargaro, Crutchlow and Rins, who will look to top the Q1 session, in order to gain entry to the Q2 session and fight for the front 4 rows of the grid for tomorrow’s #JapaneseGP.
