Brad Binder has been superb in Aragon with 2016 Moto3 World Champion who dominated the whole race despite Jorge Navarro was really close at the last lap with the Spaniard who gave everything to win the race but It was not enough after a really good Grand Prix for him. Binder made a perfect race since the start where he got the lead immediately without letting any chance to his rivals to attack him, but real twist after just few corners was Augusto Fernandez’s crash with Pons rider who made probably a fatal mistake for his title chances.

Podium battle saw so Alex Marquez and Luca Marini initially fighting for 2nd and 3rd position with the two who engaged a really nice show with many attacks, but Italian rider lost confidence and pace in the second part of the race without being able to fight for podium, letting Navarro and Marquez through. The Spaniard from SpeedUp seemed to be faster but had to wait a lot to overtake, with Jorge who did the move with 3 laps remaining.

Navarro then tried to close the gap even on Brad Binder and he was really close on doing it, but it was not enough to even try an overtake him. Alex Marquez gave up and probably preferred to conquer important points for the Championship, while Luca Marini ended in 4th ahead of Sam Lowes and Tom Luthi.

Iker Lecuona finished 7th with Lorenzo Baldassarri 8th followed by Jorge Martin and Xavi Vierge. Misano podium finisher Fabio Di Giannantonio managed to end in 11th ahead of Nicolò Bulega, while Remy Gardner, Stefano Manzi and Marco Bezzecchi were the last rider able to score points.
