First of all, Moto2’s Q1 did not see many surprises even if we had some big names like Fabio Di Giannantonio and Enea Bastianini fighting for a spot into Q2 as long as both want to have a good race. Over this two, also Andrea Locatelli and Marco Bezzecchi tried to snatch a late access into last session of qualifying with Stefano Manzi who had his chance too.

At the end, Fabio Di Giannantonio took a secure spot into Q2 followed by Andrea Locatelli who was able to ride just 0.065s slower than compatriot. Also Marco Bezzecchi with a good performance got a place to the last session of qualifying, while Chantra snatched the last one knocking out Stefano Manzi and Enea Bastianini.

Alex Marquez then made the rhythm despite Augusto Fernandez seemed to be the main candidate for pole position, with the Spaniard from Marc VDS who made a really good lap in 1.52.225 to conquer pole position ahead of his rivals who was slower than just one tenth of a second. First row is closed by Brad Binder who made a good lap in the last minutes, while Luca Marini had a good session of qualifying overall finishing 4^th.

5^th place for Tom Luthi, followed by Jorge Navarro and Xavi Vierge, with Nicolò Bulega and Sam Lowes ending third row. Iker Lecuona opens fourth one, with Lorenzo Baldassarri and Fabio Di Giannantonio 11^th and 12^th.
