We were only waiting for the official statement, and just before Misano GP where surely Lorenzo Dalla Porta wants to replicate the win of last year to extend also his Championship lead finally arrived, with the Italian who will race alongside Enea Bastianini next year.

This is not the first time that the two will be teammates as long as they shared the same box already in 2018 when they both were racing for Leopard in Moto3 and this could be a good thing for them to work in the best way possible. Dalla Porta will take Andrea Locatelli’s seat, with Andrea who has to find as soon as possible a new team but it seems that there are some negotations about him.

A great news anyway for Lorenzo who can now only focus on winning Moto3 World Title without any pressure, sure to have a contract for the following season where he will compete for the first time in Moto2. Leopard rider has a 14-points lead for the moment over Aron Canet who seems to be the main candidate for the fight but also Tony Arbolino is not too far.
