#BritishGP | Albert Arenas pips Dalla Porta for 0.028s in FP2
Great session for Albert Arenas and Angel Nieto Team with the Spaniard who is the fastest guy on track in the second session of free practice ahead of Dalla Porta and Ramirez in a really close session
Tony Arbolino is still the fastest guy overall in Moto3 combined times, but Albert Arenas shines during the second session of free practice being the fastest rider on track during FP2 for Moto3. Angel Nieto Team rider has been able to ride in 2.12.224 putting himself on top of the table, surely a good result in a tough season for him where the expectation where high but an early injury compromised the year.
Championship Leader Lorenzo Dalla Porta follows him being just 0.028s far from FP2 leader, while Darryn Binder showed a good pace too finishing in 3rd and just 35 thousandths of a second slower than the Italian from Leopard. FP1 leader Tony Arbolino at the end is 4th with less than one tenth of a second from Arenas, followed by Tatsuki Suzuki in 5th.
Aron Canet keeps his pace from the morning and crossed the line in 6th with almost half of a second of gap from the best performance, while Romano Fenati is 7th ahead of a surprising Jeremy Alcoba who is fast also in the second session of free practice after a stunning beginning of the weekend for the guy who is replacing Gabriel Rodrigo, next to come back in Misano.
A really good session for Stefano Nepa also, who put himself into top 10 at the end of the session finishing in 9th ahead of Niccolò Antonelli, 10th. Ayumu Sasaki is followed by Andrea Migno, with the two being 11th and 12th, while John McPhee, who renewed his contract with Petronas to stay in Moto3 for 2020, is 13th and Kaito Toba, despite ending in 24th FP2 is still into top 14 to get a direct access to Q2.
