#BritishGP | SpeedUp duo in the lead during Moto2 FP1
Fabio Di Giannantonio and Jorge Navarro put their bikes ahead of everyone in the first session of free practice for Moto2; 3rd time for Tom Luthi ahead of Alex Marquez and Remy Gardner
SpeedUp duo started in the best way possible for Boscoscuro’s guys as long as Fabio Di Giananntonio and Jorge Navarro are ahead of everyone in the first session of free practice; the Italian is indeed the fastest rider on track for Moto2 riding in 2.05.777, with his teammate being just slower than 83 thousandths of a second in 2nd.
3rd time for Tom Luthi who is just one tenth of a second slower than FP1 leader, with the Swiss who surely want a good result after hard times during the last races we had, while championship leader Alex Marquez ended in 4th ahead of Remy Gardner, who is the last rider being able to ride under the 2.06.
Behind them we find an Italian trio composed by Lorenzo Baldassarri, Luca Marini and Mattia Pasini, with the three who are fast on a single lap and seem to be ready to battle for top position on Sunday; both of them need a good race and Silverstone could be the ideal place to do a good performance.
Top 10 is actually closed by Raul Fernandez and Brad Binder, while last 4 spots for Q2 are taken by Bo Bendsneyder, Tetsuta Nagashima, Sam Lowes and Dominique Aegerter, but everything seem to change in the second session of free practice with many riders who will improve their lap time.
