#BritishGP | Tony Arbolino leads the way in Moto3 FP1!
Silverstone’s weekend started in the best way possible for Snipers’ Rider with the Italian leading the package at the end of the first session of free practice, ahead of Kaito Toba and Lorenzo Dalla Porta
Silverstone’s weekend could not start any better for Tony Arbolino, with Snipers rider who leads the way in the first session of free practice in Moto3. The Italian made an impressive lap riding in 2.12.008 being faster than six tenths of a second than everyone, a consistent gap considering how close Moto3 guys usually are.
Kaito Toba is the first rider to follow him finishing in 2nd just 0.011s faster than championship leader Lorenzo Dalla Porta, who seems to be quick already from the beginning to be competitive for Sunday, but same thing for new Moto2 Angel Nieto Team signing for 2020 Aron Canet, who is 4th, two tenths of a second far from his direct rival for the World Title.
Great session for Andrea Migno, who needs a good result in the second part of the season after a tough year where he struggled a lot; the Italian is the first rider going over 2.12 and finished in 5th ahead of last GP winner Romano Fenati who surely aims to repeat what he did in Austria two weeks ago.
7th place for Alonso Lopez, one second far from the top, with Jakub Kornfeil and Jeremy Alcoba following him; a stunning session for Jeremy considering this is only second appearance with Gresini replacing Gabriel Rodrigo, while Marcos Ramirez closes top 10. Last 4 spots for Q2 are actually taken by Raul Fernandez, Ayumu Sasaki, Sergio Garcia and Makar Yurchenko.
