KTM’s weekend is not going so bad overall considering that for the moment two bikes are in Q2 talking about MotoGP and they are on top in Moto3 with Celestino Vietti. KTM leads the way also in Moto2 FP2 in his home weekend with Brad Binder who tops the day ahead of Nagashima.

Just 90 thousandths of a second separate the two, with Tom Luthi wo is just behind being really closer, but same story for Jorge Navarro and Enea Bastianini in a really close session as usual. Anyway, 2016 Moto3 World Champion had a little problem at the end of the session being forced to stop his bike.

6th place for Luca Marini who keeps the pace showed during the morning, with the Italian from Sky Racing Team who finished ahead of Augusto Fernandez and Chantra, while also Jorge Martin did a good job with his KTM putting himself in 9th position; Marcel Schrotter follows him and closes top 10 despite a little crash, second of the day.

Remy Gardner is 11th and championship Alex Marquez 12th, but Marc VDS rider is actually out of Q2 because he does not have a top 14 time in combined standings. Lorenzo Baldassarri for the moment is in and finished in 13th FP2 session, with Xavi Vierge 14th, but the Spaniard is out of Q2. Other two riders qualified for the last session of qualifying are so Iker Lecuona, 15th, and Mattia Pasini, 17th in the afternoon.
