Marc Marquez’s domination was never in doubt apparently but reigning World Champion seemed not that comfortable after morning Warm Up if we look at his quotation. Anyway, Honda HRC rider did not have any trouble at all except a little moment in the second part of the race in which he had to save a crash.

Marquez’s goal was clear on running away from the first laps: “Strategy was clear, I wanted to push immediately because I used softer compound on the rear and Yamahas were behind. It was a strange race, rhythm was not that good and Dovi, despite he used medium tyre on the rear, was close to me”.

Victory seemed to be in Marc’s hands from Friday but apparently it was not: “After Warm Up I was not feeling really well with the bike and I told to my team to aim for top 5. We totally changed the bike, using one that was completely different. That is another reason why I started to push from the first lap, I did not know what it could happen with the Yamahas”.

Honda-Marquez duo seems to be unstoppable, but there is still some work to do: “We have to keep working to improve our bike, our rivals will step up. For sure there will be some tracks in which I am not fully competitive like Silverstone, but I am feeling well with my Honda, I understand quickly where I struggle. We should do something about electronics”
