MotoGP race saw again Marc Marquez being victorious ahead of Andrea Dovizioso and Alex Rins in a crazy Sunday in which MotoGP guys saw their start delayed due to track conditions.

First real twist was indeed just after Moto2 race as long as rain started to fall again on Brno’s track with no one who expected that scenario to be possible. We had so as happened yesterday a 50-50 situation with every rider who was ready to go on slick tyres. With this scenario, race direction thought it would have not been safe enough to race delaying so the start of 40 minutes waiting for the track to become fully dry.

Despite this, circuit was not totally dry at the start with MotoGP riders who had to face a really tricky asphalt in which everything could happen. Marc Marquez had the better start taking immediately the lead from Andrea Dovizioso, who jumped in 2nd after the lights went out, while Alex Rins made an early move on Jack Miller for 3rd, with this four who created a little group for top positions.

At the end, nothing serious happened before a podium battle with Miller and Rins except for an early incident between Joan Mir and Franco Morbidelli, with the Italian who had a contact with Johann Zarco and crashed involving also the Spaniard from Suzuki. Only fights during the race where with Valentino Rossi, Cal Crutchlow, Fabio Quartararo who made overtakes on Pol Espargaro, with Danilo Petrucci who did the same in the last part of the race.

Marc Marquez in the second part of the race, despite a save crash, made the rhythm running away from everyone going for an easy win overall; Andrea Dovizioso tried everything he could to stay with him but was not able to finishing in 2nd behind Honda rider, while Alex Rins had hard times with his bike during the final stages of the race.

Jack Miller was not that far from podium positions and tried to catch Rins and Dovizioso being able to close the gap on Suzuki rider overtaking him with two laps to go, with the Spaniard who could not do nothing apart from crossing the line in 4th, with Cal Crutchlow behind him ahead of Valentino Rossi. A race to forget for Maverick Vinales, who made a terrible start and finished 10th with the Spaniard who did not find the rhythm he had during the free practice.
