Pretty much everyone was wondering when Lorenzo Dalla Porta would have won his first race of the season after the Italian being so close in the previous grand prixs and in German soil it finally happened after a crazy battle with Marcos Ramirez and Aron Canet.

It was again the usual last crazy lap that decided the whole race with Lorenzo Dalla Porta being this time good enough to claim the victory at last lap overtaking Aron Canet at penultimate corner not giving any chance to the rivals and taking also championship lead!

A memorable day for Leopard Team as long as Marcos Ramirez finished second for a 1-2 duo, with the Spaniard who seemed to have a lot of pace and created even a little gap on the big group but he was not able to keep it due to some mistakes, but at the end he made a decisive move on Aron Canet for the second place at turn 12.

Aron Canet takes last podium position in a race to remember for him even if he did not win the race as long as Max Racing Team rider started 22nd but managed to come back on the group fighting for the victory with some crazy overtakes but he had to give up to Leopard duo at the end. Canet’s comeback was still incredible and the Spaniard could be overall satisfied despite losing championship lead.

Stunning race for Romano Fenati too, who missed podium for just 65 thousandths of a second, with Raul Fernandez just behind followed by John McPhee, who fought a lot in early stages for podium positions. Not the best day for Niccolò Antonelli and Tony Arbolino, 12th and 15th after the chequered flag; surely not ideal for their championship in a weekend to forget for both Italian riders.
