No one was expecting an escape race from everyone but MotoGP gives as always many surprises and Marc Marquez was able to run away from the rivals since the first lap. The Spaniard took benefit from a mistake by his teammate Jorge Lorenzo, who made an incredible start but at turn 10 crashed out involving Andrea Dovizioso, Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales forcing all of them out of the race.

Great shot then for the World Champion who increases a lot his championship lead. Second place battle was a question between Fabio Quartararo, Alex Rins and Danilo Petrucci, with Suzuki and Ducati riders who engaged a strong fight with some contacts, till Rins made a mistake at 17^th lap which relegated him outside top 5.

It was then Fabio Quartararo’s moment to make a move and so he did after Alex Rins’ mistake putting his bike in 2^nd place without letting any chance to his opponents to come back. Strong result for the French who gets his first podium of career with a great race ahead of Danilo Petrucci, who tried everything but he could not stop the French like he did with Rins. Suzuki rider was still able to finish in 4^th overtaking Jack Miller during the last lap after making a move on his teammate Joan Mir who ended 6^th
